Welcome! I’m Gyuho (in Korean, Shin is surname and Gyuho is my given name). I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Stony Brook University, where I study the intersection of political sociology and gender. My research focuses on how individuals’ perceptions of gender inequality shape their political attitudes and behaviors. My dissertation examines why sexist attitudes persist in electoral politics, with particular attention to their increasing polarization along party lines in the United States. Outside of research, I enjoy cooking and expanding my personal recipe book.
